Material Role Mapping ensures that users can only view materials that are relevant to their assigned roles. A user can see all materials mapped to their own role as well as all unmapped materials. However, they cannot view materials assigned to other users’ roles.
For example, if User 1’s role is mapped to Material 1 and User 2’s role is mapped to Material 2, then:

• User 1 can view Material 1 and all unmapped materials but cannot see Material 2.
• User 2 can view Material 2 and all unmapped materials but cannot see Material 1.

A third user with no mapped materials will only see unmapped materials and will not have access to materials mapped to User 1 or User 2. This functionality ensures strict role-based access control and prevents unauthorized visibility of materials across different user roles.
